Have been looking for alternatives to other industry-standard brand names for some time now, because, honestly I can't justify the expense and the endless new releases. I've been a CAD user since the DOS days in the 90s, but genuinely, after an hour setting up ProgeCAD to match all my old toolbars and settings, I can't see a difference here between the €2,500-a-year package I WAS using. If anything, switching layers, flicking between wireframe and shade mode in 3D is smoother (I use a decent gaming card rather than crazy-money graphics cards). Fantastic software. Thank you. Saved me a fortune!
